Conference on Hybrid Porous Materials
October 13 and 14, 2026, RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau
On October 13 and 14, 2026, TRR 375 will host the first conference on Hybrid Porous Materials at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. Hybrid porous materials represent one of the most innovative material classes of our time. By combining different materials and deliberately added porosity, they bring together a wide range of properties in a single material, opening up new possibilities for many applications. Their design, manufacture, and characterization are researched in TRR 375. We use the conference as a platform to present current research results, promote interdisciplinary exchange with national and international scientists, and initiate new collaborations. The conference will focus on five key areas:
- Additive manufacturing of hybrid porous materials
- Design, monitoring, and control of the additive manufacturing processes
- Design of hybrid porous materials and components made from such materials
- Characterization of hybrid porous materials and properties of these materials
- Application of hybrid porous components
Preliminary conference program
Our conference program begins on October 13 with plenary talks by members of TRR 375 and invited scientists. At the end of the first day, we look forward to enjoying dinner together in a pleasant and convivial atmosphere. On the second and final day of the conference, there will be plenary talks from TRR 375 scientists and guests.
